(without the corporate roleplay)
FDXvirtual is not a real airline or a shipping company. We are a virtual airline.
A virtual airline is a group of aviation enthusiasts simulating the real world operations of an actual airline — in our case, FedEx Express — through the use of consumer flight simulators such as Prepar3d, X-Plane 11 and 12, and Microsoft Flight Simulator.
We cannot ship boxes, envelopes, tubes, or pallets. Please go back to Google and find your preferred shipping company if that’s what you were looking for.
Our schedules are built using real world schedule data and are updated regularly. We also include a selection of historic schedules so that you can fly previous FedEx routes with aircraft that are no longer in service. (The Mighty Dog will always stick around even if they retire it.)
Our SOPs are built on real-world operations, and PIREPs are scored based on those SOPs. Pilots can reference a growing library of documentation and checklists to plan and conduct their flights.
vAMSYS is the latest and most powerful virtual airline management system available. With SimBrief integration included, our pilots can book a flight, generate a detailed briefing package, and get flying quickly and seamlessly.
No corporate roleplay. No CEO. We're just aviation enthusiasts who want a virtual airline experience that's realistic where it counts and relaxed where it doesn't.
Eight sister airlines, one operations team. When you join FDXvirtual you become part of a community that runs VA-curated events, VATSIM events, and focus-city events — with shared infrastructure and thousands of hours flown per week.
